Welcome to my new blog. I should let you know that my passion for cake began in the winter of 2006 after the birth of my second son. I found a cake that I love and then ate it every day....EVERY day...I kid you not! From there I began looking at cakes in whole new way and found that I really appreciate a good cake. I have recently started a cake decorating course and hope one day to be the maker of my own delicious cakes; to make them not only for myself but for others to enjoy too (yes! Ava's fifth birthday party was at the movies and the group of kids watched Rio 2. We love the Rio movies and Ava loves the birds, especially Jewel. Ava requested that her "Jewel" inspired cake be pink (of course!) and how could I say no??
